01Who is responsible

Hanif Developments, trading as Daripada, is the data controller for the personal data described in this notice. Our address and privacy contact are at the end of this page. This notice covers daripada.com, enquiries, business communications, and our own service-administration records.

A client website or system may have its own privacy notice. When we handle personal data solely on a client’s instructions, the client determines the purposes of that processing and the applicable project arrangements also apply.

02What we collect and where it comes from

  • Contact and enquiry data: your name, email address, company, role, phone number if supplied, project requirements, messages, and subsequent correspondence.
  • Client and administration data: agreed scopes, approvals, invoices, billing details, payment references, support records, and authorised staff-account details where relevant. The current website enquiry form does not collect card details.
  • Technical data: IP addresses, request times, browser and device information, visited pages, referral information, and security or error logs. Optional analytics and advertising identifiers are described below.

We receive data directly from you, from someone authorised to contact us for your organisation, from your interactions with the website, and, where relevant, from service and payment providers. If you supply another person’s information, you must have authority to do so and bring this notice to their attention. Please do not submit passwords, identity documents, health information, or other sensitive records through the enquiry form.

03Why we use personal data

We use the information needed to respond to enquiries, assess requirements, prepare quotations, deliver and support agreed services, manage accounts and payments, maintain records, prevent abuse, secure our systems, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations.

Where applicable, processing is based on your consent, steps you request before a contract, performance of an agreement, or another ground permitted by Malaysian law. Optional analytics and advertising are handled separately from your service enquiry. An enquiry does not subscribe you to a marketing mailing list; any such subscription requires a separate choice.

04What is required and what is optional

The enquiry form requires a name, a valid email address, and enough information about the project to respond. The company field is optional. If you do not provide the required information, we may be unable to process the enquiry or provide the requested service. You may instead contact us by email.

Consent to optional analytics, advertising, or marketing messages is not a condition of submitting an enquiry or buying a service. Withdrawing consent may affect a service that genuinely needs the relevant data, but does not affect processing already lawfully carried out or records we must retain.

05Who may receive the data

Access is limited to people and providers who need the data for the stated purposes, including authorised staff or contractors; hosting, database, storage, security, and website-delivery providers; email and communication providers; and payment, accounting, or professional advisers where relevant.

Our website infrastructure includes Cloudflare for website delivery and media storage, and Elastic Email for transactional messages such as enquiry alerts and staff password recovery. Email providers may process recipient details, message contents, and delivery events; current transactional-email settings may record opens and clicks.

If the optional tools below are enabled, Google and Meta may receive the corresponding analytics or advertising data. They may also process data for their own purposes under their policies. We may disclose data where legally required, to protect lawful rights, or with a separate valid authorisation. We do not sell enquiry details or project messages.

06Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Facebook Ads

Current status: on-site Google Analytics, Google Ads conversion/remarketing tags, and the Meta Pixel are planned but are not enabled in this version of the website. This notice describes their intended use. Before enabling optional tags, we will provide an appropriate consent choice and update this notice to reflect the features actually used.

Planned analytics and advertising tools
ToolIntended use and data
Google AnalyticsUnderstand visits, navigation, and engagement using page and event data, browser/device information, approximate location, and cookie or similar identifiers.
Google AdsMeasure campaign conversions and attribution, and support remarketing where enabled, using ad-click identifiers, conversion events, cookies, and related device or browser data.
Meta / Facebook AdsUse the Meta Pixel, where enabled, to measure ad performance and conversions and build remarketing audiences using page/event data, cookies, device information, and advertising identifiers.

These technologies can connect activity on our website with advertising services and activity elsewhere. Where enabled and permitted by your choices, first-party and third-party identifiers may be used together for measurement and personalised advertising. We do not send enquiry message text, passwords, or confidential project content as analytics or advertising events. We will not enable enhanced-conversion or customer-list matching using contact details without an appropriate separate assessment and notice.

07Cookies and advertising choices

Essential cookies or similar storage may support staff sign-in, security, and a choice you ask us to remember. Optional analytics or advertising cookies are separate. There is no optional tracking consent banner on the current version because the on-site optional tags described above are not active. A privacy notice alone is not consent to turn them on.

You can control cookies through your browser. Once optional tracking is introduced, the site’s consent controls must let you decline it and later change your choice. Declining it will not prevent you from using the enquiry form.

  • How Google uses information from partner sites and Google’s Privacy Policy.
  • Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on and Google advertising preferences.
  • Meta’s Privacy Policy and Facebook advertising preferences.

Provider and browser settings may be device-specific and do not necessarily stop all measurement or advertising on other websites.

08Processing outside Malaysia

Infrastructure, email, analytics, and advertising providers may process data outside Malaysia, including in the United States and other countries where they operate. Applicable protections and government-access rules can differ between countries.

Transfers must meet applicable Malaysian data-protection requirements. We consider the purpose, destination, provider arrangements, and appropriate contractual and technical safeguards. Contact us for information about the arrangements relevant to your data.

09Retention and security

We retain personal data for as long as reasonably needed for the stated purposes, taking account of an active enquiry or relationship, contract administration, legal and accounting requirements, and the establishment or defence of claims. We review retention needs and delete or anonymise information when it is no longer needed, subject to lawful retention requirements.

We use practical safeguards such as encrypted connections and restricted administrative access. Access and disclosure should be limited to the purpose and people who need them. No system can guarantee absolute security. We will handle a personal-data breach and provide notifications where applicable law requires.

10Your rights and requests

Subject to Malaysian law and applicable exceptions, you may request access to or correction of your personal data, withdraw consent, require direct marketing to stop, and raise a request to prevent processing likely to cause substantial damage or distress. You may request data portability where legally applicable and technically feasible. You can also ask us to review whether information still needs to be retained.

Email [email protected] in English or Bahasa Malaysia. Explain the request and your connection to the data. We may reasonably verify identity and authority, and charge only a fee permitted by law. We will respond within the applicable legal time limits and explain any lawful refusal or limitation.

You may raise a concern with the Personal Data Protection Commissioner of Malaysia. Contacting us first does not remove that right.

11Changes to this notice

We update this notice when our processing or legal requirements change. The date above identifies this version. Material new purposes, tracking features, or disclosures will be explained and any additional consent required will be sought before the relevant processing. This notice is available in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
