A few years ago, Anders Warming, Rolls-Royce’s Director of Design, presented the design philosophy of the Spectre EV at the Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance. He discussed specific elements that make the Spectre unique, emphasizing storytelling in Rolls-Royce’s design process. Warming explained that each design element tells a story, reflecting the brand’s rich heritage without hindering innovation. The Spectre’s exterior design achieves elegance and strength with a mix of upright and flowing lines. The two-tone color scheme and iconic Spirit of Ecstasy emblem are reimagined for aerodynamic finesse, blending heritage with modernity. The Spectre’s interior focuses on craftsmanship and luxury, featuring a Starlight Headliner and The Gallery, a space for personalized art displays. The car is equipped with 23″ wheels, the largest in Rolls-Royce history, and is entirely electric with a driving range of up to 291 miles on a single charge. The vehicle’s DC fast-charging capabilities, as well as custom-installed charging solutions, cater to the refined lifestyles of Rolls-Royce owners. This shows the brand’s ability to excel in the era of electric cars while maintaining its luxury and uniqueness.
